PRODUCT CERTIFICATION
The IEC 60335-2-40 standard covers the use of A1, A2L, A2 and A3 refrigerants according to ISO 817 and specifies particular requirements for the use of flammable refrigerants in air conditioners, heat pumps, dehumidifiers and related equipment. The standard includes specific testing requirements and we have been among the first manufacturers to supply brass threaded fittings and access valves (aka schrader valves) with hermetically sealed joints certified according to ISO 14903.
100% HELIUM LEAK TEST
The Helium Leak Tests carried out in our mass production are capable to detect a leak as small as 1 gram of refrigerant per year and thanks to these quality checks we can satisfy even the most demanding technical requirements.
COMPLETE TRACEABILITY
Traceability is a key element of our products’ supply chain and production process and is guaranteed through rigorous controls and 3.1 Certificates according to EN 10204 standard through which the mechanical properties and chemical composition of all materials are monitored.

Our production standards are constantly aligned with the latest environmental and safety regulations. We monitor the entire supply chain and guarantee compliance with all applicable regulations (CE, PED, RoHS, REACH, BPR, POPs, SCIP, ADR), providing the related certification documentation.

Igloo Refrigerazione S.r.l. designs and produces fittings and valves for manufacturers and wholesalers in over 30 countries since 2012, while our associate company Pe Giovanni S.r.l. is active in the manufacturing of custom fittings and valves made of brass, copper, aluminium and others ferrous or non-ferrous alloys serving leading OEMs in Automotive, Plumbing, Heating, Beverage, Automation and Air-conditioning since 1968 operating in 2 factories with a total of about 10.000 square meters covered area.
VISION
Few people know that the igloo is the only construction where every block must fit perfectly with millimetric tolerances: infact the Inuit build their igloos with absolute precision to ensure perfect air-tightness in polar cold.
We apply the same philosophy: in refrigeration systems, every component must be designed to guarantee hermetic sealing and total reliability.
